OVERVIEW
SpringSing Weekend™ is an annual two-day music festival, produced by Team Burns™, that uses the power of human voice to bring people together for a common cause: CHARITY. SpringSing Weekend features a Benefit Concert and a day of Workshops, featuring eleven of the best collegiate and professional a cappella groups in the nation! All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society (ACS).

The Benefit Concert is the highlight of SpringSing Weekend™, where we gather dozens of performers from all across the nation to entertain YOU! The evening’s program has two segments:
1) The Competition, which showcases six (6) of the South’s best college a cappella groups, all performing for the #1 spot, held by last year’s champions, Florida State University’s “All Night Yahtzee”, who will return to defend their title against four others. The winning group takes home a check for $500 and a gorgeous trophy. And while the judges deliberate, we present to you…
2) The Professional Showcase, an awe-inspiring showstopper, JAM-PACKED with five (5) of the biggest vocal powerhouses in the country:
Last year, we brought you Business as Usual and Blue Jupiter.. this year, these crowd favorites return, to share the stage with pop-funk sensations Almost Recess and Duwende, as well as the “#1 Most Popular R&B Group on Youtube,” Ahmir! You’ll be on the edge of your seat, swearing that there’s more than just voices in this show… But there’s not. 
It’s all a cappella. If you like music at all, you simply CANNOT miss this concert!

Day 2 of SpringSing Weekend is devoted to teaching the art of a cappella music, with dozens of fun-filled workhops for musicians of all skill levels, taught by the pros!
For the a cappella newbies, we offer “Aca-what?!”, an engaging overview of the various styles there are out there, from barbershop to contemporary. Those who’ve always wanted to start their own a cappella group can learn how to do just that in “How to” workshops, taught by those who have done it, and can offer tried-and-true tips for success.
Vocal drumset-lovers can have it their way too, in the “Beatboxing 101″ workshop. Seasoned a cappella groups (yes, entire groups register) can sign up for “Masterclass” sessions, where our professional groups will watch them perform and offer advice for improvement.
