Here are the big things to know for today:

• Early Registration has Ended. …But you can still save money!

Although the deadline for half-price Early Registration has passed, please note that registering today will save you a great deal, as prices will increase again in February when tickets go on sale through the Classic Center at full-price. Take advantage of these LOW prices while you can and make it easy on your wallet!

• Make Sure to Invite all your friends to the Official Facebook Event!!

Well of course you’re coming to SpringSing Weekend.. DUH! But do your friends, family, co-workers, and significant others where you’re gonna be, or what you’ll be doing April 16? Definitely take a minute to invite anyone who has an interest in music; most people love concerts! And if you can find a few other people to come with you, you’ll also qualify for group rate tickets! The key is, invite them NOW, as most people like to plan in advance.

• Very limited space left in our Collegiate Competition!

This is a GREAT thing for everyone except those a cappella groups that haven’t yet registered. An overwhelming amount of amazing college groups have been kicking down the doors for the chance to win a check for $500.  For those currently in the process of buying their tickets to the Concert, this means that you will have an EXCELLENT show to watch on April 16, with many of the nation’s best competing alongside music industry professionals!

But this also means that those groups that haven’t yet signed up need to do so ASAP! (Late-comers, you have until Feb. 15!) We have almost reached maximum capacity, folks, and we want everyone to be a part of this.

We’ve got SO MUCH information to share with you, so we ask you to bookmark this site, and visit back frequently. We’ll have all sorts of updates in the coming days, including the much-awaited list of college groups performing in the Competition, some new artwork and T-Shirt design, and much more!

And please, do not forget that proceeds from SpringSing Weekend (concert ticket sales, workshop registration fees, T-shirt sales, etc.) ALL go to the American Cancer Society, to help support cancer research and buy treatment for patients. SpringSing is a charity organization.

Make sure you’re registered for SpringSing Weekend 2010!

If your group intends on participating in the SpringSing Collegiate Competition, but is NOT yet signed up, go do it now! We’ve had so many groups register in the last few weeks that finding space in the Concert/Competition for newcomers is proving quite the task!

Remember, Early Registration (1/2 off on individual and group rate pricing!!) only lasts until December 31! After that, prices will go up!!  It’s quick, easy, affordable, and JUST in time for the Holidays!

And even if you’re not in a college a cappella group, buy a pair of tickets to the Benefit Concert… Stocking stuffers, perhaps?

(Also, make sure to check out NBC’s The Sing Off series this week! This is the first show of it’s kind to be aired on national TV, and a lot of great groups are performing… so watch it!)
