Ever heard of a ONLINE SILENT AUCTION?
We’re proud to present SpringSing Weekend’s first-annual ONLINE SILENT AUCTION! Like all other SPRINGSING WEEKEND 2010™ events, all proceeds go to cancer research.
Auction items include:
- Baseball tickets to the Atlanta Braves play
- Concert tickets to see Grammy Award-winning guitarist Jeff Beck
- CD set by CARA and JPFolks-Award-winning a cappella group Duwende
- …and much MORE!
Here’s how it works: you bid on cool items AND the highest bidder takes it home with them. Often, all the money raised is donated to an amazing cause… And that’s just what we’re doing this April 16th! The coolest part is that you’ll get to take part, right from the comfort of your home!

RULES
You can bid online, to your heart’s delight, until APRIL 15 AT MIDNIGHT. That’s when “Online Bidding” officially closes. To place a bid, all you have to do is email TeamBurnsCharity@gmail.com with “SILENT AUCTION BID: [Insert Item Name and Number]” (example: Silent Auction – #1. Jeff Beck Tickets).” For a bid to be complete, you must include all of the following contact information:
- Full Name
- Mailing Address
- Email Address
- Phone Number
- Bid Amount*
*PLEASE NOTE:
Although the “online” portion of the Silent Auction ends on April 15 at midnight, those items that have not received the MAXIMUM BID will still be auctioned at the Classic Center on the night of the BENEFIT CONCERT. This portion of the Silent Auction does not officially end until on April 16 at 9pm (at the end of the Concert).
Therefore each item’s highest bid online will be carried over to the “offline” portion Silent Auction at the Classic Center in Athens GA on April 16. In other words, the only way for those not attending the “offline” Silent Auction to guarantee purchase of an item is to bid the the “MAXIMUM BID,” listed below the item’s description.
